Successful Singapore Permanent Resident (PR) applicants must register for cover with MediShield Life (National Primary Health Insurance Scheme). This is to provide universal health coverage to all permanent residents and citizens of Singapore.

Singapore PR applicants who are 30 years or older must also be insured with CareShield Life, which extends basic coverage to long-term care.

Medical research

You can take your IPA letter to any medical center and you should allow about two weeks for a medical statement to be processed. However, this time may vary depending on the resort you are visiting.

Additional Supporting Documents

After collecting all other documents like medical statement and insurance documents,applicants must make an appointment with an ICA officer to submit these documents in their Singaporepublic relations application.

At this meeting, all original documents must be presented to the ICA officer for verification. A checklist of documents is provided in the IPA letter and applicants must allow up to one hour to verify these documents. This generally includes the documents originally submitted as part of the Singapore FP application.

Upon completion of the verification process, applicants will receive a return permit and an entry permit and proof of receipt of the identity card; it will be necessary to reserve an additional date to collect the ID card.

If you have successfully obtained permanent residency in Singapore and wish to apply for Singaporean citizenship, you can only apply for this application after two years of PR status.

An applicant who is not in Singapore

An applicant receiving an IPA outside Singapore must submit a written request to the ICA for extension of the deadlines. This is not uncommon, so the ICA is used to this type of request, but it is very important that you apply immediately. If your IPA letter expires before an extension is granted, the ICA will revoke your PR status approval. Validity of the policy approval letter

Application work pass IPA

This allows a person to travel to Singapore and enter Singapore to set up a business or find a job. This IPA also contains additional instructions to follow if the person is in Singapore. They are different from what you see in the IPA status for PR, but they are no less important for the Singapore Worker's Pass. Much of the Job Pass application process, including the Job Pass application, is handled by the Singaporean employer.

IPA student card

When the student card is approved in Singapore, the applicant will also receive an approval letter, which basically contains a one-time entry permit to enter Singapore. This confirms that your application has been approved and you can now move to Singapore. The letter of approval must be presented to the authorities before they can enter Singapore.

Again, the approval letter will generally specify additional requirements that must be met before the approval becomes final. Your letter of approval must be with you when you enter Singapore as you must present your letter of approval to the authorities.

The Entrepreneur Card is very similar to the Employment Card, but is issued to individuals who want to start their own business in Singapore. When an EntrePass application is approved, an approval letter is generally issued.
