Update software and apps on your Samsung smartwatch (2023)

1. Make sure your watch is fully charged before starting the update process. Upgrading may not be possible without a cost of at least 30%.

2. On the connected phone, navigate to the file and open itwearable galaxyapp

3. For Galaxy Watch3, Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch5 series: Touchclock settingsthen touchView software update.If your watch has adomtab, weigh a tickView software updateOBand-software-update. to getDownload and install.

   Some watches require you to tapAbout the watch,about the squad, oAbout the squadto access the software update menu.

   

4. Tap the icon to automatically download software updates over Wi-FiChangenext to "Automatic downloads over Wi-Fi."

   Use:This option is not available on the Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch5 series.

5. While applying the software update, the watch will reboot and display a progress bar or spinning animation.

You can also update your Galaxy Watch4 or Galaxy Watch5 directly from your watch. It still needs to be paired with a compatible Android phone. just openedinstitutions, scroll down and tapSoftware-update.

Use:These steps do not apply to the Galaxy Fit, Fit2, Galaxy Watch4 or Galaxy Watch4 Classic. The instructions only work if your watch is set up separately from your phone.
